Welcome to Big Fat Jerky, where we believe Life’s Too Short for Skinny Jerky!

The truth is, this whole adventure started because of two simple facts…

First, we’ve been making doggie jerky at Doggie Delights for 20+ years. If you’ve ever met us through our dog treat business, you already know we’re a little obsessed with making great jerky.

Second… I’m a big guy who absolutely loves beef jerky.

Living out here in the backwoods of Perry County, Pennsylvania, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Around here, being a little big, a little country, and a little redneck isn’t an insult—it’s just who we are. We laugh, work hard, enjoy good food, and believe life is better when you can smile at yourself.

That’s how Big Fat Jerky was born.

We wanted to offer delicious,  satisfying jerky that we’d actually be excited to open ourselves. No crap. No tiny snack-sized pieces. Just hearty, flavorful jerky that’s made for people who appreciate the good stuff.

Every bag represents the same pride, hard work, and small-town values that have guided our family businesses for years. Whether you’re sitting in a deer stand, working on the farm, watching the Steelers kick butt, riding back roads, fishing with friends, or just relaxing on the porch, we hope Big Fat Jerky becomes your favorite snack.
